We begin…

We begin with the belief that The Bible is the Word of God.  The Bible as derived from the Mesoretic Hebrew Scriptures and The Koine Greek New Testament.  We will attempt to approach the scriptures with reverence; understanding that in reality, we do not examine the scriptures, but the scriptures examine us.  We will not attempt to answer every objection.  Not because we are not confident in the authenticity, veracity, and integrity of The Bible, but because objections are endless and in the process of trying to answer every objection, we will have forgotten our purpose.  Albeit, we believe that the Word, properly interpreted, will answer many objections.

The Bible is as relevant as it has ever been.  Felt relevance and actual relevance are not the same.  The Bible communicates  eternal verities in a syncretistic society of shifting mores.  Consequently there is a sense of irrelevance.  The Bible is a book apart from all other books, hence its designation, The HOLY Bible.  The chief understanding implied in the word, holy, is separateness.

The Bible is a book of love and redemption.  There is a crimson thread of redemption woven throughout The Bible.  The Bible gives a progressive revelation of God’s love and the message of hope for man.

The Bible is ultimately about the most impactful person who has ever walked the planet.  The present date is marked by His birth.  Every time the world mentions the year, it acknowledges His greatness, even if unwillingly or unknowingly.

Rev 1:6 … to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
